Workshop Summary Writing for research proposals
In order to provide guidance to writers of research proposals, the Academic Language Centre will organize a pilot workshop 'Summary Writing' in December 2011. This 3-hour workshop will complement the one-on-one advice provided by LURIS.

course description
Participants will send the latest version of their entire proposal including a draft summary to the teacher (deadline 12 December 2011).
During the workshop, the draft summaries will be discussed intensively in a plenary session, paying attention to both structure and language, and focusing on general bottlenecks. Participants will also receive individual feedback on their draft summary.
