Does the department have an introductory programme?
Yes, the introductory meeting for the students starting on their programme in February 2012 will take place on Monday, February 6th at 12.15-13.00 hrs in the Lipsius Building, room 107 (Phonetics Laboratory). You will meet the representatives of the staff as well as other students, and you will be provided with some information about the department, the programme, the timetable and other relevant details.
Where and when is my first lecture?
Your timetable depends on your choice of courses for this semester.

Is there anything more I need to complete my enrolment?
Please submit two pictures of yourself and the registration form that you have been sent by the department to the Student Administration Office at the ground floor of Van Wijkplaats 3.
Where can I buy my study books and teaching material?
There are a few bookshops at the Breestraat in Leiden where you can look for your course books. You can also try and order your books on the internet. Some reading materials will be distributed during the courses. The reading lists are listed in the course descriptions in the e-prospectus.
