DESCRIPTION OF THE INTERNSHIP

Occupation: Assistant to International Office Staff

Location : International Relations Office

Missions 

Main activities:
- Helping organize students’ events
- Communication (conferences, student fairs/salons)
- Registering agreements on data base

Required skills  

Main skills:
- Friendly and open-minded
- Able to work in a team
- Adaptability
- Organizational skills

Functional skills:
- The intern should have a good command of computer resources

Linguistic skills:
- A good command of the French and English languages is required. The knowledge of a second European language is recommended

Working environment

Maximum weekly working hours: 20.
The intern’s personal schedule will be taken into account as far as possible
The salary is defined by the intern’s home university

Duration of the internship: 3 months minimum and 10 months maximum.

The intern will be on priority list to obtain university accommodation (although, the accommodation will have to be paid by the intern).

The International Relations Office will be in charge of both follow-up and assessment.

The applicant is required to provide the names and details of two referees who can be contacted by Montpellier University.

The international office’s opening hours will be compatible with the intern’s personal schedule.

Occupation: Assistant to Legal office

Location : Legal Office, presidency service

Missions : training agreement

Main activities :
- make a comparison between the regulations of the internship European Union countries : work on legal and practical aspects
- create and save a comparative database
- propose a single model of training agreement

Secondary activities:
- Helping organize office’s activities
- Communication (conferences)

Required skills

Main skills:
- Serious and curious
- Able to work in a team and alone
- Adaptability
- Organizational skills

Functional skills:
- be a law student or equivalent
- The intern should have a good command of computer  and internet resources

Linguistic skills:
- A good command of the English languages is required. The knowledge of French and a second European language is recommended
- Students from german speaking countries are also accepted

Working environment

Maximum weekly working hours: 20.

The intern’s personal schedule will be taken into account as far as possible

The salary is defined by the intern’s home university

Duration of the internship: 6 months minimum and 10 months maximum.

Location : C.D.P.S. of the UFR 2 – language-faculty  (English Library)

Missions 

Main activities :
- Attending to students and helping them complete their bibliographic researches
- Cataloguing

Secondary activities :
- Creation/updating of databases
- Communication (conferences, student fairs/salons)

Required skills

Main skills :
- Welcoming/attending to students
- Running a collection
- Organizational skills

Functional skills :
- The intern should have a good command of electronic resources 

Linguistic skills :
- An excellent command of the English language is required.

Working environment

The library’s opening hours will be compatible with the intern’s personal schedule.

Maximum weekly working hours : 20.

The salary is defined by the intern’s home university.

Duration of the internship : 3 months minimum and 10 months maximum.
