1. Send an e-mail to the administration chinese@hum.leidenuniv.nl (in time!) expressing the wish to graduate on date X and let them know whether you will be present* at the ceremony. Supply the administration with your private e-mailaddress. 
2. Ask the Coördinator of Studies ms. Amir to check your grades to see whether you have fulfilled all requirements for graduation. 
3. Inform the Coördinator of Studies whether you have taken extra-curricular courses and let her know who your Thesis-supervisor is. 
4. If there is much time inbetween finishing the final part of your studies and the graduation ceremony, please contact the Coordinator of Studies.

Short before the Diploma-ceremony date, you will be informed by the examinationscommittee of the exact time. The ceremony will last about 10 minutes.

*If you are not able to be present at the ceremony, it is possible to pick up your diploma after this date. If you want somebody else to pick it up for you, it is possible to authorize this person by a letter stating so (including the name of the person). He or she will have to identify him/herself as being the person mentioned in the letter. NB. It is not possible to have diploma’s sent by post!
